Conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA
This website has been designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities — including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities.
We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time exercise. When we introduce new pages or features we test them against the same standard.
Accessibility features on this site
Semantic structure
Every page uses HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a logical heading hierarchy so screen readers can navigate by structure.
Keyboard access
All interactive elements — links, buttons, form fields, the mobile menu — are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone. Focus is always visible.
Skip to content
A skip link appears when you press Tab from the top of any page, letting keyboard and screen-reader users jump past the header straight to the main content.
Colour contrast
Body text meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background. Interactive controls meet at least 3:1 against adjacent colours.
Reduced motion
Animated counters and transitions are automatically disabled when your operating system is set to "reduce motion".
Descriptive labels
Form fields have visible labels and appropriate autocomplete hints. Errors are announced to screen readers, and the first invalid field receives focus.
Meaningful alt text
Content images have alternative text describing their purpose. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive tech so they don't clutter the listening experience.
Responsive & zoomable
Layout reflows down to 320 pixels wide and content remains usable at 200% text zoom, so the site works for readers who need larger text.
High-contrast & forced-colour modes
The site respects operating-system high-contrast settings, keeping interactive elements distinguishable.
Assistive technology & browser support
The site has been designed to work with recent versions of:
- Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile
- NVDA and JAWS screen readers on Windows
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- TalkBack on Android
JavaScript is used to enhance behaviour (mobile menu, form validation feedback) but the site's content and primary navigation remain usable if JavaScript is disabled.
Known limitations
We're not aware of any content on this site that fails WCAG 2.1 Level AA at the time of publication. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us — we treat those reports as a priority.
Third-party content that we link out to (regulator websites, PDF filings, etc.) is outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard.
